OUR BRAND Founder's Message

In 1982, we introduced our preservative-free skincare line in tiny, 5-milliliter vials. Back then, most women, including my wife, suffered serious skin problems caused by the harsh ingredients in the beauty products they were using – ingredients such as parabens, sterilizers and petroleum surfactants. Instead of enhancing their natural beauty, the products caused skin irritation, cell damage, and accelerated skin’s aging. It’s no surprise that these “negatives” brought the women great discomfort and anxiety – far from beautiful.

As both a pioneer and continuous innovator in preservative-free skin care and cosmetics, FANCL is committed to eliminating these negatives and making skin stronger, healthier, and ultimately more beautiful. Our entire business is built on this philosophy as well as the firm belief that our products should give the skin only what it needs.

Here’s how the magic unfolds:

  • All FANCL products are formulated per the highest standards. To guarantee their quality, we package them in small, hermetically sealed bottles and freshness-dated boxes. This all takes place in our pharmaceutically sterile, state-of-the-art laboratories in Japan.
  • Our innovative, touch-free caps are specially designed to keep out bacteria.
  • Each bottle contains enough for a thirty-day supply so that the products stay fresh through to the finish.
